Aadhaar Card
BPL Card
Permanent Resident Proof
Marriage Invitation Card
Caste Certificate (if applicable)
Groom’s Age Proof
Groom’s Board Marksheets
Bride Age Proof
Bride Board Marksheets
Divorce Order (in case of Divorcee women)
Copy of Joint Account Passbook
Parent’s Income Certificate
Disability Certificate (If applicable)

Applicant must be a resident of Haryana.

Minimum age of the groom should be 21 years at the time of marriage.

Minimum age of the bride should be 18 years at the time of marriage.

MMVSY amount can be given upto marriage of 2 daughters of a person in a family.

Any Widow or divorced women can also take this amount for her re-marriage (only if she had not taken it previously)

The following is the grant amount given under this scheme (MMVSY)

Note :
1. The applicant will submit his application before the date of marriage. 2. Competent authorties for sanction of shagun if application is submitted after date of marriage:- i) up to 2 months before marriage : District Welfare Officer. ii) up to 3 months after marriage : Director , HQ No application will be entertained received after 3 months of the marriage.
